SAMUEL² WESTLAKE (David C.¹), son of (1) David C.¹ and Rachel (WATERS) WESTLAKE, was born on 20 Sept. 1821 in New York^[2], died on 13 April 1896 and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Kent Co., Michigan, United States. He married in Feb. 1843^[5], (VI-5) NANCY HOGADONE, daughter of (VI-1) John and (MJ-4) Cyrena (COUCHMAN) HOGADONE, who was born on 28 Dec. 1815^{[1, 4]} in Bayham^{[1, 4]}, died on 10 Dec. 1893^[1], and was buried on 16 Dec. 1893^[3] in Greenwood Cemetery^[3].
