1. WILLIAM1 KERRICH of Saxsted, Suffolk, England, United Kingdom was born circa 1420[3], and died between 1470 and 1530[3]. [2]
Probably a descendant of John Kerrich of Leiston, co. Suffolk, who was taxed in the subsidy of 1327. [2]

Generation Six

6. ROSE6 KERRICH (William5, Robert4, William3, William2, William1), daughter of (5) William5 and Margery KERRICH, was born on 13 April 1572 in Saxsted[5], and died on 19 Sept. 1627 in Westhorpe. She married in Westhorpe, on 13 May 1600, (JC-3) THOMAS CLARKE, son of (JC-2) John and (JU-4) Katherine (COOK ALIAS CAREW) CLARKE, who was born on 1 Nov. 1570 in Westhorpe[1], and died on 29 July 1627 in Westhorpe[1]. NEHGR 1951, p.254 states:
The Kerrich family were wealthy yeomen living in the parish of Saxsted, co.
Suffolk, and their ancestry has been traced to William Kerrich, of Saxsted, who
occurs in 1470.
