ROBERT⁴ WHITE (Robert³, Robert², Thomas¹), son of (3) Robert³ and Alice (WRIGHT) WHITE, was born circa 1558 in Shalford & Messing, was christened on 17 May 1560 in Shalford, died on 17 June 1617 in Messing and was buried on 17 June 1617 in Messing^[8]. He married (1st) in Shalford, on 24 June 1585, (AX-8) BRIDGET ALLGAR^[11], daughter of (AX-5) William and Margaret (Ann) (PARYE) ALLGAR, who was born on 11 March 1562 in Shalford, was christened on 11 March 1562 in Shalford^[8], and died on 24 June 1605 in After That Date. He married (2nd) MRS. ROBERT WHITE of Messing, who was born circa 1558. ^{[4, 7, 13, 2]}
Robert White seems to have lived in Shalford most of the time after his
marriage. He was very wealthy and gave money to the church and the poor. The
baptisms of nearly all of his children and the marriages of his daughters are
recorded there. All the children came to America. ^[3]
