He married in Salford^{[10, 19]}, on 12 July 1630^{[10, 19]}, (AFP-3) MARY ODELL, daughter of (AFP-2) John and Joan (BINGLEY) ODELL, who was christened on 10 Nov. 1605^[10] in Salford^[10].
Jacobus, in the 1943 "Additions and Corrections to History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield", p. 35, (citing TAG 13:125-144, 14:224-227) says Benjamin was "son of Robert and (?Judith) of Southcott and Hollingdon in Soulbury, co. Bedford, Eng."

However, in 1960, Jacobus edited the Ackley history which says "There is strong circumstantial evidence for placing Benjamin as a son of Thomas and Judith Turney" and hence that line is shown here.^{[10, 16]}
