Charlotte appears to be be the sister of the Thomas W. Dixon described at
http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyoswego/towns/richland/history2.html#dixon,%20t.
Thomas was born 5 years after Charlotte, in Oneida county where Charlotte was married, and moved to Pulaski, Oswego Co., where Charlotte's son Isaac was born, and Thomas had a daughter named Charlotte.
Of Thomas's parents, it says the following:
He is the son of Robert and Sarah (Wiley) Dixon, the former of whom was born in Stonington, Connecticut, December 3, 1753; the latter in the same State, July 22, 1756. His father was a farmer, and a man of unbounded energy, and an extensive agriculturist for those days. There were nine children in the family, of whom the subject of this sketch was the eighth.
Also, Charlotte's great-grandson was named Robert Dixon Davis.
"Connecticut Marriages to 1800" at Ancestry.com shows marriage:
Robert Dixon of Groton & Sarah Wylie, Jan. 15, 1782
IGI does show Charlotte Dixon as dau of Robert Dixon and Sarah Wylie with the correct birthdate.
