"Walter PALMER's parents are UNKNOWN. They were NOT John Palmer and Elizabeth Verney of Somerset, England. This myth has been disproved."
Arrived in Connecticut in 1658.[5]
In a 1986 publication, Buys says he was born 1585 in Yetminster, Dorset, England, presumably based on the Banks Mss., but a 2020 Register article by Perry Streeter addresses this and argues that the Yetminster origin is unfounded, and that an origin in Frampton, Dorset is much more probable.[1, 11]
