"At a town meeting in 1728... John Wylie on his arrival, presented the following certificates: "That John Wylie and his wife Agnes Park, and their children Elizabeth, John, Jean, Peter and James, during their residence in this Presbyterian congregation of Cullbaky, in the parish of Ahoghill and county of Antrim, which was from their infancy, are free of any scandal or church censure know to us preceding the date hereof is certified at Cullbaky, April 23, 1728. This appointment, we having no minister-- signed John Wylie, Sen.,Gain Stowell, Matthew Clark."[16]
